These are our lovely Muscovy Ducks, two of which were hand reared by us. One drake and 3 females, Pato, Lavender, Magnus and Dot. They will feed out of your hand and are happy to be close you, in fact Pato (the drake) likes to welcome you home and comes to the gate with a wagging tail. They are about 5 years old, so pretty much retired from laying eggs but occasionally pop out the odd one.
We are based in Christchurch but would be happy to relocate them within Canterbury for the right person.
We are reluctant to re-home them but have moved to a new home that doesn’t have enough space for them, so we are looking for someone who will just enjoy seeing them in their garden, their curiosity and funny companionship.
