Meet Morty, our sweet rescue boy who has blossomed into the most affectionate, smoochy cat you’ll ever meet. He has a gentle soul and a unique little face that makes him even more special.
When Morty was found in the bush, he had severe gum disease and had to have most of his teeth removed—now, he only has his two bottom front teeth, giving him the cutest look! But don’t worry—this doesn’t slow him down one bit. He’s healthy, up-to-date with vet care, and happily eats anything, including biscuits.
Morty is an absolute lovebug who adores attention and cuddles. He thrives on being the center of affection and will be your most loyal, snuggly companion. However, he struggles with new cats and prefers to avoid them, so he would do best as an only cat or in a home with a very calm and non-confrontational feline. He has lived with a laid-back dog before and was fine, but high-energy dogs stress him out.
This decision has been incredibly difficult for us, as we love him deeply. Unfortunately, due to our move back to Australia and the high expenses involved, we’re unable to take him with us. Our priority is finding Morty the best possible home—one where he’ll be loved as much as we love him. He needs a calm environment without too much noise or stress so he can continue to thrive.
