Maya is a great dog that has lived with us for the last 4 years. She is good with our four cats but doesn’t like other cats coming into our garden. Maya knows a few commands and walks on the leash. Walking her outdoors is no problem. She has no problem with strangers or other animals outside her home, but she likes to be protective in her own home.
When our grandkids visited us, it took her 2-3 days to get used to them; after that, she was great and played in the garden with them. Maya is alert of strangers, and it will take a bit before she lets someone close to her—but this is because we live very rural and don’t get a lot of visitors. I’m sure Maya, once she gets more used to it, will be fine with other people.
We’re moving overseas to Germany, and we are, by law, not allowed to take her with us.
