Established in 2023 in West Auckland, NZ, Pet Rescue New Zealand was created to make safe, simple, scam‑aware pet rehoming possible for everyday Kiwis. What started as a local response to overwhelmed shelters and families in crisis has become a trusted way for owners and caring adopters to connect across Aotearoa.
From those early days to today, we’ve grown into a nationwide pet rehoming platform supporting dog adoption, cat adoption and small‑pet placements across New Zealand. Our focus remains responsible pet rehoming in New Zealand — practical guidance, transparent fees, and a stress‑free process that puts animal welfare first. Proudly serving families all over Aotearoa.
