We’re looking to rehome our beautiful young dog, Autumn, to a home where she can truly thrive. This decision has been incredibly hard and made with love. Autumn is a bright, affectionate, and loyal girl, and we want to find the perfect match to give her the life she deserves.
Reason for rehoming:
Autumn has displayed some reactive behaviours in our home as she adjusts to family life. She has nipped our toddler when around my partner and I, and is not getting on with our cats. The SPCA believe this may be linked to her long stay in the shelter, and is now territorial of her owners. We feel Autumn would be best suited to a calm, child-free home (or with older, dog-savvy kids) and no cats or small animals. Ideally with someone who can continue her training with consistency, structure, and lots of patience. Autumn will be loyal, snuggly and gentle in the right home!
About Autumn:
– Medium-sized, approx. 6 months old. Will grow into a large dog
– Bearded Collie mix. Smart, alert, and full of character
– Crate trained and sleeps beautifully through the night
– Very food motivated and responds well to training
– Loving, playful, and eager to bond
What she needs:
Autumn is still a young pup with lots of energy. We walk her twice a day, but she still has energy to burn, especially when we’re away at work and she’s in the backyard for long stretches. Autumn will need a large backyard to play in. Even better if you have existing pups she can be friends with!
Autumn has a great foundation and lots of potential. She’s already shown that she’s receptive to learning and thrives with consistency, clear boundaries, and positive reinforcement. With the right person, she’ll become an incredible companion.
Autumn is de-sexed, fully vaccinated, with flee and worming treatments. She is fully registered.
