Foster or Forever Home Needed – Meet Manuka 🤍

Manuka is a beautiful white girl with tiny black spots, and the most expressive eyes. She’s medium sized (around 20kg) and full of personality and love.

She is incredibly sweet and affectionate. Super cuddly, devoted to her people, and will happily follow you around the house like your little shadow. She’s very food motivated (which helps with training!) and loves being part of whatever you’re doing.

Manuka has plenty of energy and needs regular walks and playtime. She absolutely loves swimming and her favourite thing in the world is fetching floating sticks at the beach. Tennis balls and chew toys are also high on her list. That said, she’s just as happy stretched out in a sunny spot for an afternoon nap.

Manuka is deaf, but she has already learned hand signals for sit and lay down. Because she can’t hear cars approaching, she can be startled by them and may jump or bark. She’s enthusiastic on walks and can pull when she’s excited to get to the park. At home, she can be a little wary when new people arrive, but with calm introductions and a few treats she warms up quickly and becomes your best friend.
She’s been through a lot, and it’s been recommended that she continue training. She would be best suited to a calm home where she can feel secure and settled.

She was originally found wandering the street and the council was contacted. She spent a month in the pound with no one coming forward for her, so we stepped in to help with the intention of finding her a forever home.
