Due to a change in my circumstances, I am looking for a long term foster home for my cat Luna. I am being made redundant and my plan is to move out of my house (around September) and leave NZ to go overseas for a while. I can’t leave my cat behind as I don’t know if the people who will eventually move into my home would like to look after her while I am away. Luna likes people but she doesn’t like other cats or dogs. She is used to have a lot of space to herself since I live on a lifestyle block. An ideal new home for her would be somewhere in the countryside with no other cats or dog. I adopted her in 2016 from someone for found her as a stray. The vet estimated she was around 1 or 2 years old when she was found so she would be around 10 or 11 years old now. She is microchipped, neutered and vaccinated. She loves sleeping on my lap. She is friendly but she also sometimes goes crazy and bites. I don’t know how she is around children. She is scared by loud noises. Ideally, I would like to find her a foster home not too far from Rolleston or Lincoln as she doesn’t enjoy car trips. I am happy to answer any questions.
