Gentle 12yr old Tabby Dora - Loving Auckland Retirement Home Needed

About Dora
Dora is a gentle and affectionate 12 year old desexed and microchipped Domestic Short Hair tabby. She was my late father’s much loved companion until he passed suddenly in mid-2024. Since then I have been caring for her, but with a newborn baby and growing family commitments, I can no longer give her the attention she truly deserves.

Personality & Behaviour
• Curious and friendly, loves being around people
• Adores pats and cuddles
• Will sometimes give a playful paw swipe when she wants attention (never scratches or bites)
• Mainly an outdoor cat but enjoys coming inside, especially on cold nights

Health & Care
• Vaccinated (Felocell 3)
• Congestive heart failure and hyperthyroidism – both well managed with daily medication mixed into meals
• Doing great on this routine
• Current meds provided at handover
• Vet records available directly from her clinic
