German wirehaired pointer x huntaway/border-collie requiring urgent rehome

Unfortunately, due to a change in my current living situation, I am needing to either re-home or find a long-term (6ish months) pet-sitter for my beautiful pup, Eddie.

Eddie is well known at Otaki Beach as he would often take himself for a walk to friends houses or to the beach. He is incredibly friendly and great with kids/babies/toddlers. His breed is a German wirehaired pointer x border-collie/huntaway and he is around 3.5 years old.

We haven’t had cats at our place and when he sees them he is stand-offish but intrigued and more likely to point than pounce. We have had him at a residential property and he has generally been kept inside while we’re out. He will require tall fences to be kept in as he is quite athletic, and plenty of walks – he loves swimming at the beach or chasing balls at the dog park.

He is de-sexed and up-to-date with vaccinations.
