Loving Staffy Cross Looking for a Forever Home | Desexed & Microchipped

Meet Buc, a loving, affectionate Staffy crossbreed who was found wandering the streets near my home in late February. When efforts to find his original owners failed, my family and I took him in and have been fostering him ever since. Unfortunately, we already own a dog and are not really in a position to keep another one long-term, so the time has come to find him his forever home!

During his time with us, he has been desexed, dewormed and microchipped, and taught basic commands like ‘sit’ and ‘give paw’ and to come when called. He is estimated to be around 1-2 years old by the vet, and still has plenty of his puppy energy! He is all around a lovely-natured dog who loves people, getting plenty of attention and cuddles, and playing with other dogs. I have two cats, and while he will attempt to chase them occasionally, he should be able to be homed with other cats that have been socialized with dogs.

Ideally, we would love to find him a home with someone who has owned dogs before, who will be able to continue his training and give him the attention he deserves. He absolutely cannot go to a home where he will be chained up at all, as we suspect this has been an issue for him before he came to us. While living with us he has been an indoor dog, so it would be great if this would be an option at his new home!

Buc has digestive issues and will need gastrointestinal dog food. We will provide a bag of his current food to his new owner. We will also provide his blanket, some toys, his harness, and his beanbag, which is his favourite sleeping spot!
