We are looking for a new home for Posy, a 2.5yr old Staffy/lab, desexed and microchipped.
She is a bundle of energy, is a great companion, very loving and sweet natured and loves a good cuddle. She is medium build, very strong and quite beautiful. Her eyes can melt you for sure. She learns very quickly and is still young so is quite trainable. The beginning of her life wasn’t perfect and she was not given the time and training that she deserved but she has learnt and improved in so many things in the short time we have had her. She sits and waits for her food, has only chewed up things on the very rare occasion when left at home for too long.
She does however have an issue with socialisation with other dogs, she was not socialised as a pup and was kept inside most of the time before we took her on a few months ago from previous owners. She isn’t aggressive with dogs, she just wants to play but doesn’t know how to and can be quite the handful around other dogs. I believe this can be reversed with some good socialisation but would have to be controlled and with dogs you know.
As far as we have seen she is good with kids, likes them a lot but she just needs to know not to bawl them over or steal their food.
She would suit a home with a bit of land that she can run around on or be put to work. We really want the best for Posy, we don’t have the time and she needs more space than we can provide to her right now. We absolutely love her, she brings much joy and laughter to the household with her big personality and we would love to see her go to a home she deserves.
