I found this wee guy in Auckland about 4 months ago, he had chain marks and mange around his neck, he was also malnourished and very timid… It took me about 15 minutes tryna bribe him with food to come anywhere near me, eventually got him in the car, couldn’t find it in me to leave him there. He’s now a very different dog, well-fed, healthy, happy and well socialized with people and other dogs. He’s had all his shots and microchip done late July, we think he’s about 7-8months old but not entirely sure.
We already have a 2 year old staffy cross of our own Ruby, Rocky has food aggression so I have to feed them separately otherwise they fight, he is very territorial when in his bed or sleeping rather, starts getting aggressive towards my dog when she goes near him, he’s also possessive although they play well most of the time these things have been causing fights between the two of them. Ruby’s never shown signs of aggression prior to having Rocky and I’d like to find him a new home. I don’t have the time or money to train him. He’s not a bad dog though. He doesn’t have any aggression towards people he loves cuddles and is a inside blanket do now.
