Huntaway-Border Collie cross dog for rehoming in Canterbury region

I have a male huntaway cross who is in need of rehoming as I am heading off for further study and am unable to keep him with me. His name is Chewbacca, he’s black with white and tan and is nearly six. He’s very friendly and gets along with humans and other dogs. However, he does tend to jump up to say ‘hi’ with new people, and people he’s familiar with but does not see all the time, and due to being a larger dog this can be quite overwhelming for some people.
Chewbacca likes to play with larger balls like footballs and basket balls and loves a game of chase. He is not a big barker but will on occasion, usually if he needs to go outside or wants to come inside. Chewbacca has been microchipped and neutered.
