Beegee is a gorgeous, sensitive girl with a soft nature and a heart that bonds deeply once she feels safe. She’s medium‑sized, desexed, vaccinated, microchipped. Beegee grew up during the Covid lockdowns, meaning she missed out on early socialisation, so she can be timid in new places or around unfamiliar people.
She was selected to become a Military Working Dog but found it overwhelming. Beegee is a gentle soul who needs time to settle and feel secure. She can be reactive toward other dogs on leash, but with space, patience, and calm handling she relaxes. She has attended daycare and kennels, initially nervous, but after a few weeks of slow, positive exposure she began to thrive, even choosing a few dog friends to play with.
Beegee adores her chuck‑it balls and squeaky toys. She loves scent work and has been trained using clove; it’s one of the activities where she feels most confident. Beegee also enjoys obedience training and picks up new skills quickly.
She has been looked after by vets and a behaviourist. She’s currently on medication to help her feel calmer and more settled.
Beegee would flourish in a quiet, predictable home where she can explore at her own pace. She’s best suited as the only pet, with people who can give her the gentle introductions she needs. Once she trusts you, she is incredibly loyal, and loves spending time outdoors in peaceful places like quiet bush tracks.
Beegee is a truly special girl who just needs the right environment to feel safe, understood, and loved.
