Gigi is a 4 year old labradoodle. Her mum was a large poodle and her dad was a labradoodle. She is very loyal and loving family dog. She is very active and is great with kids. She is an intelligent, eager to please dog. She is very fluffy, not wiry. She sheds a lot but would be combatted with more regular grooming. She is currently groomed once a year to help keep her cool in summer.

Gigi is very active and requires at least 3-5km walks or runs per day. Especially if you are going to be out at work etc. If you are home all day this would be her ideal as she loves to sit at your feet and follow you everywhere. She loves to be apart of family life.

Gigi loves to fetch balls and sticks and loves to swim. She loves the hose and chasing things. She loves other dogs and is very playful. She is extremely loyal, if the gate is left open she will never run away. She will however, chase cats. She would suit a new home with no cats.

Gigi is desexed and has been kept up to date with her vaccinations which she has a booklet to prove that. She will come up to date with flea and worm. She prefers grain free food and other foods upset her stomach & she can be fussy if she doesn’t like the food. However in the last year I have found a supermarket brand of food that is easily accessible and she likes this food.

Gigi is eager to please and has great recall, she loves running in off leash areas and could run forever. She’s very fast. She is easy to train and can sit, lie down and shake on command. Gigi requires someone who is strong to walk her as she pulls on the lead so needs someone fit and active who is able to control her.

Gigi is a much loved member of our family and is very patient and calm with babies. She loves playing / doing rough play with our toddlers but she does not realise how big she is and easily knocks them over which is straining their relationship with her! She would suit older children who love to play with her and have a greater understanding that she is only playing. Or someone who is home a lot and she can sit at your feet during whatever you’re doing. She loves to be inside and would happily sleep on your bed or at the end of your bed. She has been crate trained and is fine outside while you’re at work / out of the house. She loves chewing on beef bones.

Due to increasing work demands and the ages of our children, we feel she is not getting the attention and time that she deserves. She deserves a family that will give her a lot of affection and attention during the day and would love to spend more time inside.
