Hank is a wonderful three-year-old Labrador cross who has been a cherished member of my family for the past three years. He is desexed, fully vaccinated, and registered here in Rotorua. Hank is the epitome of kindness and gentleness. We welcomed him into our lives when he was a foster puppy, and he has brought so much joy and love into our home.
Over the years, I’ve been passionately involved with our local SPCA, fostering numerous litters of puppies, and I can proudly say that Hank has been incredibly gentle with all of them and with many other dogs. Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond my control, I find myself in a difficult situation. I have another dog with significant health needs, and sadly, Hank has been bullied by this dog.
After much reflection and training, I believe Hank deserves a better environment where he can thrive. He loves going for walks, enjoys car rides, and has a healthy appetite without being picky about food. He is an inside boy who is completely house-trained, has short hair, and is in great health—never having encountered any health issues.
Hank is a devoted and protective companion, though he never barks excessively. He has been around many dogs but has only ever lived in my home, where he has adapted to the presence of children, including my special needs child and my child with autism. Hank has always shown incredible patience and kindness in these situations.
I am heartbroken to consider rehoming him, but I truly believe that finding an amazing new home for Hank is the best option for him. If you could think about giving this sweet boy a chance, I would be forever grateful. Thank you for taking the time to consider Hank.
