Liquorice is a bright, affectionate 11-month-old Labrador/Collie cross with a wonderful temperament and a big heart. She was originally rescued from a farm in Hokitika after an unwanted litter of pups, and she has grown into a smart, social, and loving young dog.

✔ Vaccinated and microchipped at Onerwa Rd Veterinary Centre.
✔ Travels well and enjoys long car trips.
✔ Excellent with other dogs, children, and people.
✔ Happy, energetic, and highly intelligent.

Liquorice is a classic working-dog mix — she thrives on activity, open spaces, and having a job to do. She loves the outdoors, enjoys water, and is at her happiest when she’s running around and engaged. (She’s a fan of water but prefers to avoid rough seas.)

I am rehoming her due to my own health issues and want the very best for her. She would be ideally suited to a home with other dogs, or even better, a working farm or active rural environment where she can live the lifestyle she’s naturally built for.
