Re-home Our Dog, Ziggy – A Loving Labradoodle Needing the Right Environment

This is incredibly hard to write, but we’re looking to re-home our beautiful Labradoodle, Ziggy.

Ziggy is:
🐾 5 years old
🐾 Playful, energetic, and full of personality
🐾 Loyal, loving, and has been a cherished member of our family since he was a puppy

Ziggy has also faced some challenges:

⚠️ He experiences anxiety and is currently on Sertraline (a common anxiety medication for dogs)

⚠️ He can be reactive around other dogs and needs a calm, structured environment

⚠️ Most importantly, there was a recent incident where Ziggy was provoked and bit our child. As a result, he can no longer live in a home with children, and we’re heartbroken to have to make this decision.

🏡 What Ziggy Needs:

Ziggy would thrive in a home with:
– No children or other dogs
– Someone experienced with dogs, ideally familiar with behavioural needs
– A calm environment where he can feel safe and secure
– A fenced yard or outdoor space would be a bonus

He’s not inherently a dangerous dog, he just needs the right environment, where his anxiety and triggers are properly managed. In the right hands, Ziggy will be a loyal, entertaining, and affectionate companion.
