This is a really hard post to write.
We are looking for a loving new home for our 8-year-old Miniature Schnauzer. We’ve had him since he was just a few months old, and he’s been a big part of our family ever since. He moved with us from Auckland to Christchurch over 6 years ago.
Now, we’re relocating to Auckland and moving into an apartment. As we both work full-time, he’d be home alone most of the day, something he didn’t enjoy when we lived in Auckland years ago. Because of that, we feel it’s best for him to stay in Christchurch, where he’s settled and has the space he loves.
He’s a friendly, loyal boy who’s great with kids and loves being around people. He enjoys having room to run around and play, so we’re hoping to find him a home with a good backyard and someone who truly cares for dogs. He can be a bit barky around other dogs when (only when on the lead), but he’s very well behaved otherwise and loves company.
We would love to find a caring family or person who can give him the love, time and space he deserves.
