Meet Sophie

She is 8 years of age, we have had her as a puppy.

Due to circumstances we could not foresee 7 years ago we have made the tough but responsible decision to continue to give Sophie the best years of her life.

She is middle age, young at heart, full of beans, affectionate and loves everyone – EVERYONE!

Including your pets when properly introduced (Eg.. she knows whom should be on your property and who should not)

She is great with cats, (we have 3).

She loves walks
Loves Tug-o-war
Loves belly rubs
Loves to run around, also loves her rest times

The ideal home for her we are looking for :
* Owner whom is energetic and can keep up with her
* Able to give her plenty of walkies
* Time to invest in her
* Fully fenced property with plenty of room to be a dog

She is a great guard dog! As a sensor 😛 Nothing much else! She would entertain anyone on the property to death, demanding tug-o-war.

Loves to let you know then the courier has arrived

She is smart, and inquisitive! So don’t leave escape routes on the property. Fully fenced and secure is a MUST.

She is good in a car when she gets used to it (Does not get many trips with us sadly), but she will do intercity trips no problem with a quick stop over for a wee. Has never gone wee in the car…

We have had a number of enquiry’s now where many have not met our criteria, it takes up our energy, as well as yours.

Please do not apply if you can not meet the criteria above.

If you can not adhere to our requirements for Sophie, refusal to adopt may disappoint.

The world does not owe you a Dog – Please do not choose Sophie as a companion based solely on your emotional needs.

We are putting Sophie’s needs at the forefront of our own, if you are unable to present to us a genuine desire to adopt her to both better her needs foremost, and yours second then we are not interested.

Please do not apply if you are over 60 and can not drive, or able to keep up with her energy.
