Max is a beautifully loyal and attentive dog who is happiest with his people. He is an anxious boy and needs to be inside when left alone or he will bark. He is happy if he has a warm cosy spot until his human returns. He has been bought up with children in a big family with another dog but this year he had an altercation with our other dog and they haven’t been able to be together since.
He has never attacked or bitten another dog but does growl and bark and stand over other dogs if he hasn’t been introduced properly.
He is in a pack currently and has regular training with this trainer.
He is extremely loving and loyal and low maintenance when inside relaxing with his family.
He’s great on leash. He needs a person who is good at being his leader otherwise he will try to be the boss himself. He likes guidance.
He’s a beautiful looking boy and has never had any health issues this far.
He can’t be left all day or he will fret and bark.
If he’s inside and not left for longer than 4 hours at a time. I pop home at lunch time to let him out for a wee and he just sleeps away the days on his bed in the closed up lounge.
He has always been great with kids but I won’t rehome him to anyone with children as he has just started growling at my youngest. I have no concerns that he’ll do anything but this is a non negotiable.
He is not good with cats or any other animals except dogs in a well controlled and trained environment.
