Looking for a loving home for our cockatiel, Rico. We are relocating and unfortunately cannot bring him with us.

Rico comes with his cage, full setup, and a ~6-month supply of seeds (no cost).

About Rico:
Age: 15 years old (purchased hand-raised from Bird Barn in West Auckland back in 2011).
Personality: A lovable oldie who has gotten a bit feisty in his twilight years! Once he warms up to you and is in the mood, he loves shoulder hangs and head scratches. Just expect a couple of playful or stubborn nips while he builds trust.

Vocals: He loves to sing in the morning and afternoon. He speaks several phrases, including “Hello gorgeous”, “Hello beautiful”, “How are you?”, and “Hello Rico”. But really quiet in the evening.

Special Talent: He gives a solid effort at singing the Imperial March from Star Wars (though he’s gotten charmingly off-key over the years!).
