Jess is a five year old Whippet cross Staffy. She is an absolute couch loving dog. She is most happy sleeping in the sun or in front of a fire. She loves to be around people.
She is desexed, microchipped and fully vaccinated. Located in Christchurch
She is best in a home where someone is home a lot as she gets lonely.
We have made the difficult decision to rehome Jess because she no longer gets on with our other dog. This happened when our child was born and she tried to challenge the pack order. We are also currently living at my in laws and two other dogs making the situation quite hard. She would be best to live with no other dogs.
She wouldn’t do well in a household with a cat. She is good with our toddlers and is exceptionally good at cleaning up all the food that is dropped!
She is crate trained and sleeps in it at night but her ideal spot would be curled up in bed with a person.
She eats raw dog meat from Canterbury pet foods. She likes short walks and walks well with the halter on.
She hates being cold and not a fan of the rain so is an inside dog. She absolutely loves cuddles and attention! She happily spends most of her day snoozing.
She needs to go to a home with tall fences as she can jump, and to someone who can handle a strong dog. On the halter she is not that strong but is strong on her harness or collar
I really don’t want to rehome her but it’s not fair to her to keep living in the situation we are living in. I really hope she finds someone who can love her as much as I do.
