It is with heavy hearts that we are looking for a new home for Cyril, our much-loved 3β4-year-old desexed domestic short hair. He moved in with us when he was around 6 months old and spends much of his time with our elderly neighbor.
Cyril is a confident, independent boy with a big personality. He enjoys indoor/outdoor living, loves a good nap, and likes affection on his own terms. He enjoys cuddles in moderation but isn’t keen on being picked up.
Cyril would do best as the only pet. He is very dominant with other cats and plays much too roughly with them, which is the main reason we have made the difficult decision to rehome him.
He also has a very boisterous play style with people and can become overstimulated, leading to rough play, including grabbing or biting. Because of this, we think he’d be best suited to an adult home or one with older, cat-savvy children who understand when to give him space.
We think Cyril would thrive with a retired person or a quiet household where he can be the centre of attention without other pets competing for his space.
Cyril is litter trained and enjoys coming and going outdoors.
This has been an incredibly difficult decision, and our priority is finding the right forever home where Cyril can be understood and appreciated for the unique cat he is. If you think you could offer him that home, please get in touch.
