It is with a heavy heart that I am looking for a new home for my beloved Japanese Spitz, Yuki. She will be 10 years old this year and is a medium-sized, desexed female.

Yuki is a loyal and affectionate dog who forms strong bonds with her people. While she can be friendly with a small circle of trusted people, she tends to choose one special person and becomes deeply devoted to them. She has a kind nature and enjoys affection, although she prefers to be touched on her own terms and appreciates people who respect her boundaries.

Yuki would thrive in a calm, adult-only home where she can be the centre of attention. She is not suitable for homes with children, cats, or other dogs, and she can be reactive and vocal at times. For this reason, she needs an experienced owner who understands her needs and can provide a predictable, low-stress environment.

This decision has not been made lightly, but due to her difficulties living alongside my daughter, I believe Yuki would be happier and more settled in a home better suited to her temperament.
