Looking for a calm, understanding home for a 16-year-old cat, Roxy.

Roxy’s original owner has recently gone into a rest home and sadly can no longer care for her. We found her a new home, but it hasn’t worked out as she’s not coping in that environment after being the only animal in her home for 16 years.

She’s currently in a home with another cat, and it’s become clear this is too overwhelming for her. She’s been staying outside and keeping her distance, which isn’t ideal, especially heading into winter.

Roxy would do best in a quiet, low-stress home where she can be the only pet and settle at her own pace. She needs a calm environment, patience, and someone who understands that older cats can take time to feel safe again after big changes.

She does enjoy being outside but also likes a cuddle every now and then, especially in the night.

She’s a lovely older girl who just needs the right setup to feel comfortable and enjoy her retirement years.

Ideally suited to a peaceful home with no other animals.
