It is with very heavy hearts that we have made the difficult decision to rehome our much-loved family dog, Albus.
Albus is a mini Labraspoodle cross, weighing approximately 18kg. He is an intelligent, affectionate and loyal dog who forms strong bonds with his people.
Albus is great with children and other dogs but is reactive to cats, so he will need a cat-free home.
He becomes unsettled with change and thrives in a stable, consistent environment. Albus is naturally protective of his family and home, so he can be vocal and will bark when he feels the need to alert you. He also requires plenty of mental stimulation and enjoys daily walks and swims, always preferring to stay close by your side.
We believe Albus would be happiest in a home where someone is around for much of the day and can give him the time, attention and companionship he craves. While he has been raised around children, we feel he would truly thrive in a quieter adult household where he can receive regular one-on-one interaction and affection.
Albus is a low to medium shedding dog and requires regular grooming. He is fully vaccinated, neutered, microchipped and in good health. He does have seasonal skin allergies, which we have successfully managed with 2β3 Cytopoint injections each year between November and March, avoiding the need for steroid treatment.
This decision has not been made lightly. We simply want Albus to have the environment where he can be his happiest and best self. With consistency, attention and love, he will be an incredibly loyal and rewarding companion for the right person or family.
Only approved homes will be considered. We would like to meet any potential owners and view their home before making a decision, as finding the right home for Albus is our absolute priority.
