Scout is a nearly 10 year old German Shepherd. She is quite small (approximately 25kg). Scout has been around cats her whole life. She did basic training when she was younger and knows her sits, downs, mat etc. Scout is incredibly gentle and will take treats from children with the utmost care.
Scout can be shy and timid but doesn’t have a mean bone in her body. She has never been agressive.
I did teach Scout not to come into the kitchen when she was a puppy so now she doesn’t walk on vinyl at all. Has proved interesting at the vet for her yearly shots but all the vets have been happy to come outside and see her.
Scout loves people, playing, being brushed, going for walks (on a halti), rub-a-dubs with a towel when she’s been out in the rain.
Scout in fixed and fully vaccinated with no known medical problems.
Unfortunately I am looking to rehome Scout due to circumstances.
I recently moved from South Canterbury (marriage separation). I also have younger Border Collies and whilst the dogs generally get on fine they play very differently which just doesn’t work.
Scout would best be placed with someone kind and gentle, who is around home most of the time and preference would be for Scout to be the only dog in the family.
