Description

Dog for Adoption – 2-Year-Old Male

We are seeking a committed and understanding home for a 2-year-old male dog who was rescued at approximately 1 year of age from inhumane circumstances. Since his rescue, he has shown great resilience and has developed into a loving and social companion, but he requires an owner who can provide the time, patience, and consistency he needs to truly thrive.

He experiences severe anxiety, including separation anxiety, so his ideal home would be with someone experienced or willing to invest significant time in training, reassurance, and building his confidence. A calm, stable environment is essential. He would be best suited to a household with older children or no children, or children who are confident and comfortable around energetic and playful dogs.

He is very friendly and enjoys socialising with other dogs. He has previously been around cats and has shown a playful, non-aggressive interest in them. He is comfortable with both males and females and generally has a loving and affectionate nature.

He knows basic commands, is toilet trained, and is generally well-behaved indoors. He has been raised as an inside dog and is accustomed to living inside the home. He does require further training on the leash, as he tends to pull, but this is an area that can be improved with consistency.

He would thrive in a home with a secure, fully enclosed yard, as he enjoys spending time outside and loves to sunbathe.

His current name is “Rage” (pronounced “Ragey”), though as he is still young, he could easily adapt to a new name if desired.

Please note:
– He is not currently registered
– He is not microchipped
– He has not been desexed
– He has not received vaccinations

This is a very difficult decision, but due to current housing restrictions and landlord policies, we are unable to keep him and meet his needs. Our priority is finding him a safe, stable, and loving home where he can continue to grow and be properly supported.

We are happy to arrange meet-and-greets and would love to stay in contact after adoption to provide any additional information or support if needed.

He has so much love to give and will make a wonderful companion for the right person willing to invest in his future.
