Meet Muffin!

She is 7 months old.
Rottweiler X Labrador.
She is fully vaccinated and in great health for her age!

Muffin became apart of our family back in July 2025. She was a small little puppy who had been rescued from a bad situation! As the last pup of the litter & labeled as the “runt” she was unwanted and treated with unkindness.

Muffin is a sweet, loving girl who’s ready to find her forever home which unfortunately is not with us due to the extreme lack of time I am able to give her, being a high-risk pregnancy, type 1 diabetic, raising my 5 year old solo and our 3 cats. She is fine with cats in her nature but tends to chase them as she just wants to play & as we have an older cat we have had for 5 years now, it’s becoming an issue.

She has a gentle nature, enjoys being close to her people, and just wants to feel safe and loved. Muffin does best in a calm, patient environment where she can settle in at her own pace. She’s loyal, affectionate, and has so much love to give.

She is great with my 5 year old daughter and any young children, she is just very happy & a bit “full of energy” sometimes so needs to be supervised around children younger than 5 I’d say. She struggles with jumping up but I have slowly been teaching her “down”.

She loves walks, has good recall off lead, Great attention to training with treats. I have trained her mostly in Māori but she does understand English as well. She knows Enoho – Sit , Stay, Wait, Haere Mai – Come , Go , Leave it , “Paw” . She has been trained to Sit-wait-paw-good girl for her food 🙂

She is currently fed on “Kooky Kibble” dog biscuits and “K9 raw dog meat” as well as white rice and mixed vegetables.

She would suit someone who can give her a lot of time as she does not like to be alone, reassurance, and a very stable routine. If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a soft heart, Muffin might be the perfect match!
