Toffee is an 18-month-old Cockapoo with a big personality, a very soft heart and a lot of fluff! He’s affectionate, playful and clever, and once he feels comfortable with you, he’s an incredibly sweet companion.

🐶 Playful & fun-loving – loves the dog park and playing with other dogs.
🎓 Clever & trainable – knows his basic commands and has had one-on-one training.
🌳 Great recall – reliable off-leash at the dog park and loves a good run.
🏙️ An adventurous boy – surprisingly comfortable in busy places like the CBD and markets.
❤️ Very loving – forms strong bonds with his people and loves being part of their lives.
🏡 Living with Toffee

Toffee is actually very easy at home. He can stay home alone for up to around 8 hours and doesn’t chew furniture, destroy things or make a mess while you’re away. He settles and waits for you to come home.
His one weakness? Slippers. 😂 Leave one within reach and it instantly becomes his prized possession!
He is house-trained, vaccinated, registered and neutered.

💛 His quirks
Toffee is a sensitive boy and some situations can overwhelm him. He can bark and become reactive around unfamiliar people or dogs, particularly in quieter, one-on-one interactions. He is not aggressive — his reactions are driven by anxiety and uncertainty.
We’ve worked with a trainer and have already seen significant improvement. We believe he has lots of potential to continue building confidence with patience, consistency and the right environment. Interestingly, he can be very different depending on the setting: he is happy and playful at the dog park and comfortable in busy environments, while more direct interactions can be harder for him.

❤️ His ideal home
Toffee would love a home where he can have lots of companionship and be involved in everyday life. A family with plenty of time for him, or someone who works from home or is retired, could be a wonderful fit.
This is not an easy decision — we love Toffee very much. But our current lifestyle means he spends more time alone than we feel is fair to him, and we want him to have a life filled with more companionship, attention and opportunities to grow in confidence.
We’re looking for the right home, not simply the quickest home. We’re happy to be completely open about Toffee’s personality, quirks and needs to make sure we find the right match for this very special boy.
