Due to a change in our family circumstances, we are looking for wonderful new homes for our two much-loved Miniature Fox Terriers. We are willing to travel to help re-home them.
Poppy – 3 years old
Poppy is a loyal, intelligent little girl with an alert and protective nature. She is well behaved, social with other dogs, and has never shown aggression. While she prefers curling up beside you rather than on your lap, she loves being with her people and is happiest when she’s included in family life.
She absolutely loves walks, playing with toys, and exploring. Poppy is an exceptional swimmer and will happily jump into the water at every opportunity, whether it’s the beach, river, or lake – even in the middle of winter!
She has an adventurous spirit, so a secure, well-fenced property is essential.
Poppy is fully vaccinated, microchipped, desexed, and registered with Hamilton City Council.
Duke – 1 year old
Duke is the happiest, friendliest little dog you could hope to meet. He adores people, other dogs, cuddles, and making new friends wherever he goes. His joyful personality wins everyone over.
He’s playful and energetic but is just as content sitting nearby with a chew toy, quietly watching the world until it’s time for another adventure. Following Poppy’s lead, he’s learning to enjoy the water and is growing in confidence every time he swims.
Duke is incredibly fast, has fantastic recall, and thanks to Poppy’s guidance has grown into a well-mannered, affectionate, and house-trained young dog.
Duke has mild environmental allergies that have been easy to manage. Since we’ve had him, he has only experienced one flare-up.
Duke is fully vaccinated, microchipped, desexed, and registered with Hamilton City Council.
Together or Separate
Our preference would be for Poppy and Duke to stay together, as they have been wonderful companions for one another. However, we understand that this may not always be possible, and our priority is simply finding the very best home for each of them.
They are both well socialised through dog daycare and regular dog park visits, have stayed happily in boarding kennels, and are comfortable around other dogs.
They are both crate trained and sleep happily in their own crates beside each other every night. They travel beautifully in the car, together or separately, and get incredibly excited whenever they hear the word “vacation.”
These two have been treasured members of our family, and finding them safe, loving, permanent homes is our highest priority.
We are asking $200 per dog, although the adoption fee is negotiable to the right home. Finding the right family is far more important to us than the fee.
If you think you can offer Poppy, Duke, or both of them a lifetime of love, companionship, adventure, and security, we would love to hear from you.
An email has been sent to the user to notify them of your new offer.
