Bobby is a loving, affectionate boy who has so much love to give to the right person. He deserves a home where he can feel safe, understood and settled, with someone who has the time, patience and commitment to help him thrive.

Bobby needs someone willing to work with him on his training and help him become more comfortable and confident in his environment. He will benefit from a patient, understanding owner who can give him consistent guidance, clear boundaries and the time he needs to learn.

Bobby has hip dysplasia and arthritis, but he is doing exceptionally well with Cynovan injections. His ongoing joint care and comfort will need to remain a priority in his new home.

Bobby’s ideal home:

* A quiet, preferably rural property with plenty of space and minimal exposure to busy environments and unfamiliar people.
* An experienced, patient owner who understands that training takes time and consistency.
* A home without children or cats, as Bobby is not comfortable around them.
* A fireworks-free environment where possible, as fireworks are something he struggles with.
* Someone who can provide him with the love, stability, exercise appropriate to his mobility, and ongoing care he needs.

Bobby has so much potential with the right person beside him. He needs someone who will look beyond his challenges, understand his individual needs and give him the time and patience to settle and learn.

This is a very difficult decision, and Bobby’s wellbeing is at the heart of it. I want to find him a home that is genuinely suited to him, where his needs can be met and where he can be loved for the wonderful dog he is.
