Kupa is a black medium-large Labrador x German Shorthaired Pointer who is full of love, personality, and enthusiasm for life. Although he is desexed, he still has plenty of puppy energy and would thrive with an active owner who enjoys getting outdoors.
He is incredibly affectionate and loyal, loves nothing more than scratches and spending time with his people, and forms strong bonds with those he trusts. Kupa has completed a three-week board and train programme with Canine Success, giving him a solid foundation in training(but some more training would help).
Kupa gets along well with other dogs and genuinely enjoys their company. However, he becomes very excited when he sees them. On walks he can pull strongly on the lead to say hello and may jump up to greet people if not reminded of his manners. His recall also needs continued work when other dogs are around, so he will need an owner who is confident, consistent, and willing to keep reinforcing his training.
We believe Kupa would be best suited to:
An active individual, couple, or family.
A home with teenagers or older children.
Someone willing to continue his training and provide regular exercise and mental stimulation.
A securely fenced property.
Kupa has so much love to give and will make an incredibly loyal companion for the right home. Finding the best match for him is our highest priority, and we are in no rush, we want to ensure he goes to a family who will love him as much or more than we do.
If you think you could offer Kupa the home he deserves, we’d love to hear from you. Please tell us a little about yourself, your home, and your experience with dogs.
