Maverick is a 4yr fixed border collie. But dont let the breed fool you. He doesnt want to work, and loves laying around getting lots of love and attention.
Mav needs to be an only dog as he wants all your attention all the time so gets jealous of other dogs getting your love that he thinks he deserves. He loves a daily walk, but doesnt have to be that far as hes a little on the chunky, lazy side.
He hasnt grown up around cats or young children so I wont recommend he goes to a home that has them as I couldnt tell you how he would react.
If youre okay with having a second shadow, he would be a great pup for you. He likes to follow his human everywhere. Be laying against or on you any chance he can. Hes all for the belly rubs.
He doesnt have any known health issues but he could do with losing a few pounds.
He is okay being home alone through the day, but will be all over you as soon as you return home.
He is house trained, has recall, I rarely use a lead to walk him as he follows my voice commands. But he absolutely hates being in a crate.
