About Liam
Desexed, microchipped, vaccinations and flea treatments up to date. Manx cat– his bobtail is natural, and Manx’s are known for being sociable and active. Liam is a lovely young cat we adopted from the SPCA in June 2026. He is affectionate, friendly and curious, with a sweet but somewhat independent personality.
He enjoys attention and cuddles, although he’s not necessarily a long lap-sitting cat. He’s happiest having the freedom to explore his surroundings, spend time outdoors and come inside for affection when he’s in the mood. He’s just beginning to cuddle with us in bed at night. He has not been exposed to other cats or dogs, so we don’t know how he would interact with other animals.
Why we’re looking for a new home:
Unfortunately, Liam has developed a persistent habit of urinating in corners around our house. It has started to improve lately, especially after we’ve had the carpets cleaned, and he’s been staying outside during the day. We have taken this seriously and have worked closely with our veterinarian to investigate and address the issue. We think the real reason for this behavior is our children– especially our 9 year old daughter stressing him out. His veterinary examination and urinalysis were normal. We would be happy to talk to you about the things we’ve tried.
The home we hope to find for Liam:
We think Liam would thrive in a quieter environment with plenty of outdoor space.
