Sam and Millie are the best friends ever.
Sam will be 5 this years and Millie just turned 4.
Sam is a pure black lab(no papers) bought as a puppy from a breeder in Timaru. Millie is a black lab x springer spaniel. They are both microchipped.
And they make quite a pair. They have never fought with each other before. They love to play chase games with each other and Millie with her short legs can give Sam a good tackle. They are good around children, they know the cats are the boss in the house, but when outside they might chase after them thinking it is a game. Not good around chickens. Very bright and full of life and love, always greeting you with a smile and a wagging tail. And when you sit down they will come in for cuddles. They are crate trained. Also leash trained although Sam still needs a bit of work on the start of a walk to take it easy, instead of bulldozing into it🤣.
We are looking for a loving family to adopt Sam and Millie. Our circumstances have changed and due to an unplanned move we cannot give them the freedom and life we want. Where we are at the moment they are not allowed to run around in the yard and have to be chained up or either in their crates. The are not allowed in this massive beautiful yard without being supervised. At the previous house we lived in they were free to run around the yard and play, and only when we left home we put them in their crates in the garage so we know they are safe as we lives next to a busy road.
We are not in a position to buy a house yet, so for now moving between rentals will be an ongoing thing for us.
We thought that another family with a safe, enclosed yard(without chickens🙃) might be able to offer them a better life than we can for the season of life we are in now🫣🫣.
We love them very much and it is with heavy hearts that we are placing this listing.
