When your pet has a new home, mark the listing as adopted so everyone who asked knows.
- Open My listings and find the pet.
- If you like, pick who adopted them from Adopted by….
- Tap Mark as adopted 🎉 and confirm. You can also tap Yes, mark as adopted 🎉 in that person’s conversation.
- For the handover, open the conversation in Messages and tap Handover pack.
- Together, tick the checklist (met in person, vet records, microchip transfer, food and routine, any fee paid at the handover). Each of you types your full name, ticks I agree to the above. and taps Save.
- Tap Print or save as PDF to keep a copy.
Good to know
- Your listing shows an Adopted stamp for a week, then comes down. Everyone who messaged you gets an automatic message.
- For dogs, the owner and adopter each tell the council about the change of owner within 14 days.
